The owners of this 1940s Green Hills home sought a family-friendly interior, and their wish list started with getting rid of the dark galley kitchen. It went on to include a renovated family room and expansion into the attic for children’s bedrooms.

Our team removed walls to create a spacious island kitchen and built out the new upstairs—including the stairs. The family room, which is now open to the kitchen, feels even cozier with an exposed-beam ceiling and custom built-ins flanking the fireplace.
