Our office is open, design boards brimming, and jobsites humming. If quarantining has made your home’s shortcomings more obvious and frustrating than ever, here’s our plan for working with you as safely as possible to bring real solutions to your life – whether remodeling, adding on or building new in the Nashville area. From meetings to jobsite practices, this is what it’s like to work with us now.
In-Home Meetings
We wear masks, sanitize our hands before knocking on your door, and say our hellos from a distance.
Everyone seems comfortable with our protocol, and in-home meetings are working well.
Just last week we visited four homes in Nashville’s historic Richland-West End and Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhoods and in the suburbs of Brentwood. Everyone seems comfortable with our protocol, and in-home meetings are working well.
Virtual Meetings
If you prefer a virtual meeting, we’ve got them down. We’re pros at making them work exceedingly well for you and for us. Whether you’re calling in for the first time to get the ball rolling or well into the design phase, we’re happy to offer you this option.
Office Meetings
If we meet here, we will clean high-touch surfaces beforehand, keep our distance and have plenty of sanitizer on hand. We’ll have on masks and ask that you do too. In addition to extra janitorial services, we regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces such as keyboards, telephones, doorknobs and the conference room table. We practice social distancing among ourselves and keep our hands washed and sanitized.
Jobsite Practices
We take working in people’s homes seriously. Always have. Now, we’ve gone to great lengths to implement a jobsite plan based on CDC and OSHA recommendations.
Our jobsite plan has four components:
- COVID-19 Prevention & Preparedness Plan – A 10-page document covering everything from jobsite rules and responsibilities to what to do if someone has symptoms.
- COVID-19 Checklist – A one-pager of daily duties and actions. Know the symptoms. Know our exposure action plan. Supply sanitizer, wipes, masks, gloves to all crew members. And more.
- Jobsite Poster – An English/Spanish 13-point poster displayed at every jobsite. It outlines specific requirements – from hand hygiene and masks to cleaning shared tools – that our staff and trade contractors must do every day, throughout the day, when working on your home.
- COVID-19 Toolbox Talk – Essential talking points that our project managers give to our field employees, trade contractors and any new crew member on all Trace jobsites. Talks are ongoing.
All of us on Team Trace have committed to each other to carry out our plan with care, because we know that your health – and our health – mean EVERYTHING to our mutual success and prosperity. We are all interconnected.
If you have any questions or concerns about our plan, our actions on your jobsite or what it might be like to work with us, don’t hesitate to contact us. As always, we’ll be glad to help out … right after we wash our hands.
